Firstly a rupture can lead to many side effects such as nausea, dizzyness, vomiting, weakness and of course intense pain the the pelvic region.

Secondly a ruptured ovarian cyst can become infected and lead to further complications.

These are short term remedies and longer term solutions to shrink the cysts permanently are your best bet for relief and safety … however when you are in pain short term relief is what you need, I know from experience!

1. Heat Packs & Hot Water Bottles

Heat is your best friend to reduce pain from ovarian cysts. A hot water bottle or a heat pack you can warm in the microwave can give you fast relief from pain if you apply them in the right place.

Do not place these anywhere near your belly and baby but instead apply then to the painful areas from the back and not the front or the side.
