1. Heat Packs & Hot Water Bottles
Heat is your best friend to reduce pain from ovarian cysts. A hot water bottle or a heat pack you can warm in the microwave can give you fast relief from pain if you apply them in the right place.
Do not place these anywhere near your belly and baby but instead apply then to the painful areas from the back and not the front or the side. The heat will seep through your skin and muscle to loosen up tightness and promote blood flow in the area. Do not apply these packs for too long though but continue to do so for 15-20 minute periods at a time and you can make th day more manageable.
2. Hot Bath
Stress from pain and discomfort has an impact on your health and your hormones. A hot bath serves the function of a heat pack and is a gentle way to soothe the entire body and relieve pain.
The evenness of the heat is also good for your child and your overall stress and pain relief as well as being a psychological reliever of stress and pain too.
3. Herbal Remedies
Nothing exotic here. You can add herbal teas to your diet and a few other substances that are natural and not harsh like drugs sio you can rest easy that they will cause you and your baby no harm or side effects.
Herbal teas of many sorts are very helpful to relieve stress but some are also good ad a diuretic which will relieve pressure from your bowels which is a crowded place with a baby and a cyst to content with.
Try these herbs:
